Gabrielle O.
Private tutor in Ottawa, Canada
Education
I completed my undergraduate degree at Mount Allison University in psychology, and graduated with a 4.19 GPA (4.3 scale). Currently, I am in my first year of pursuing a masters in school and applied child psychology at McGill University.
Experience
I have tutored for two years, and specialized in tutoring students with learning disabilities. I have tutored a variety of university level psychology classes, including cognitive psychology, statistics, introduction to psychology, abnormal psychology, and child development. I have also been a teaching assistant for two years, in many of the same classes. Upon graduating, I received the Gord Manson Peer tutor prize, which is awarded to one graduating student for providing tutoring services above and beyond what is expected. I was also awarded the Psychology Teaching Assistant award. On the GRE, I received a 163 (92nd percentile) in verbal reasoning, and a 5.5 (98th percentile) on analytical reasoning. On the psychology subject test I received a 750 (92nd percentile).
