I am currently finishing my masters in education at Mcgill University, Montreal, averaging a 3.8 GPA. Previously, I graduated from Concordia University with a B.Sc. majoring in Biology. During my time at Concordia, I also had the opportunity to study abroad at Lund University, Sweden.
Experience
I was employed as a full time tutor at Lauren Hill Academy, Montreal. During this time, I helped struggling students by leading group or individual lessons for the students. I found that most students benefit from a more personalized approach to learning as they are able to ask the questions most pertinent to them and are able to identify misconceptions. I was also able to implement teaching methods that take into account the different learning styles that the students may have.
