I am a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa currently offering academic support to students within the Ottawa area. I graduated with High Distinction from Carleton University with a B.A. Honours in Psychology, a minor in Law and a concentration in Forensic Psychology. I am the recipient of several institutional, provincial, and federal scholarships for academics and research and graduated from my undergraduate degree with an average of 99.8%.

Experience

I have extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa. I have evaluated coursework, proctored exams, served as a liaison between professors and students, instituted and consulted on grading criteria, and supplemented instructional knowledge with professional development activities for introductory psychology courses. At Carleton University, I worked as a Workshop Team Leader at the Centre for Student Academic Support, wherein I provided study skills workshops, supervised the Study Skills program, and offered personalized academic strategies and resources to students. I have also worked as a Psychology Workshop Facilitator with Carleton University’s Enriched Support Program. In this role, I provided support to students transitioning to university through: weekly workshops, one-on-one consultations, instruction of psychology course content, and collaboration in determining learning strategies. I have also served as a Psychology Mentor with Carleton University’s Department of Psychology, wherein I provided guidance to first-year university students enrolled in introductory psychology courses. I was also a volunteer proofreader and notetaker with Carleton University’s Paul Menton Centre, supporting students with learning difficulties.
