I am currently completing my Ph.D. at Carleton University in History. I hold a Master's Degree from the University of Windsor in History, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor in History and Communications.
Experience
I have assisted students over the course of my graduate career (four years) in both History-related subject material as well as Communication/English. I consider myself a people person and pride myself on being empathetic to student's needs and wants. I gain personal satisfaction knowing that I can assist students in achieving their goals. Over the course of my third and fourth year as an undergraduate student I took a class called Mentorship and Learning. The course provided me with the fundamental skills necessary to effectively tutor first-year undergraduate students and work with them in their transition into the university setting.

Hobbies
I enjoy travelling across the United States and Europe. My goal is to explore Asia at some point in the near future. While travelling I have a tendency to shop. This leads me to my second interest--I wouldn't be completely honest if I didn't admit that I harbour a deep love for shopping and material culture. I find that my grounded interests, along with my extensive education, make me a level-headed and down-to-earth tutor who is ready and able to facilitate a student's education in a relaxed environment.
