I have a master's degree in economics with a strong math component. I also did my doctoral coursework with a specialization in mathematical economics. I have studied both micro and macroeconomics at the doctoral level, as well as mathematical economics.
Experience
I have previously tutored many subjects, including university calculus, differential equations, econometrics, linear algebra, multivariable calculus, microeconomics, and statistics. I took graduate-level statistics, analysis, and mathematical economics courses. I have previous work experience as a teacher's assistant in calculus at the university level. I have published been published in scholarly journals and given speeches at scholarly conferences. I began tutoring because I enjoy teaching others and helping people learn and master the material they are learning in their courses. I can tutor in all levels of calculus, macro and microeconomics, statistics, and more. In addition, we can work together on coursework, prepare for your upcoming exams, or tackle specific questions and concerns.

Hobbies
I enjoy classical music and jazz. I have sung in church choirs and a large choral group. I do volunteer work at the Ottawa International Jazz Festival and the International Chamber Music Festival. I enjoy reading, primarily historical novels and history books on the Medieval Period in Europe although I'm also interested in the Renaissance. I like to keep active and enjoy working out in the pool where I'm a distance swimmer. I garden at my home and maintain and upkeep a large perennial garden. I also cook and like to hang out with friends by going to the movies, having coffee or attending a concert.
